It is a time of transition here at EMI Global. Our CEO of 14 years is retiring this summer. John Dallmann is intentionally leaving at a time when EMI is at a strong stable place, and giving way to Brad Crawford who will be able to take up where John left and lead our organization forward to new places. Being in the Global office, I get to see organizational leadership on a more day to day level, and I am honored to be able to work under and with such Godly men and women.
This summer, my direct supervisor spent a month and half supporting the EMI office in Nicaragua, leaving me and my colleague in charge of the home front. This has allowed Sally and I to step more into our respective roles as managers in the marketing department. As marketing professionals, we live and breath EMI’s mission, vision, and core values, so much so, that I sometime forget that I am also a recipient of EMI’s mission: “To develop people, design structures, and construct facilities which serve communities and the Church.” I may not directly design or construct facilities, but I am being developed and I am a part of the restoration work EMI does to serve communities and the church around the world.

This summer we cover a finished project in Cambodia and the recent CEO transition happening here in the Global office.
Sdam is doing well. He continues to self study while classes are break for the summer. We just recently found out that the citizenship civics test has been updated with more questions than before. He will soon begin reviewing that information again in preparation for his interview. We expect about 9 more months before his interview gets scheduled with USCIS.
